What types of music do you cover?
We are open to anything and we usually cover what we like. Nowadays we see ourselves as a quality platform, as patrons for musicians and artists who are working within uncommon genres such as Drone, Ambient, Avant- Rock, Psych, Improv and all kinds of other experimental music.


Can I send promotional material of my band for review?
Yes you can, the mailing address is available upon e-mailed request. A review can not be guaranteed, but submissions are always encouraged, especially fully packaged releases. Please do not send us e-mails asking when your review will be done, we will get in touch with you as soon as it is online. If you don't hear from us at all, take a hint.


Will you review mp3's of my band?
No, we won't review them, and please do not send us any mp3's via e-mail. You can burn your mp3's on a CD-R and submit it. If we do enjoy what you are doing we'll be sure to let you know.


Do you also review vinyl and cassettes?
Yes we do review vinyl at any size, but we do not review cassettes/tapes.


Why are all reviews in German?
All record reviews are in German because we feel it's the best way to write a proper review, that is detailed etc. Also, quite a number of our readers comes from German speaking countries (Germany, Switzerland, Austria).


I wonder if you can send me a translation of the review, since I do not speak the Deutsch?
No we can not translate any reviews, that would be too much additional work. But the rating will give you a good idea of the overall performance of your record. Or use one of those crappy online translators.


Are you interested in an interview with my band?
No, so please don't send e-mails asking for it. It's not that easy to get an interview here as we have really high standards.


How can I advertise on your webzine?
You can't. There are way too many crappy ads on the net. Period.

What is the meaning of the name "Creative Eclipse"?
Well, this name has basically nothing to do with Cave In's "Creative Eclipses" record as some of you may think. The name represents a deep blend of creativity and sadness. Very simple.
